Just Add Ink 64

Well I am on a creative roll now and decided I'd enter a card in this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge. The challenge this week is one close to my heart...its a colour challenge and you have to get inspiration from your favourite Chocolate Bar!!! Great idea with Easter coming up.

So here is my entry for JAI64...can you guess which chocolate bar gave me the inspiration?!?

The inspiration came from....a MARS BAR!!!! One of my favourite chocolate bars!!

Cardstock: Basic Black, Real Red, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Other: SU Brad, SU Button, Tiny Tag Punch, Cotton thread, Stampin Dimensionals

I'm Back!

Well I have been missing in action for awhile...sorry! Things are just so hectic at the moment I am struggling to keep up!! Its amazing how many activities and social engagements my three children have!

Anyway, enough of that. I have a card to show you. It is one I did for my open house a few weeks ago. It is using one of my favourite stamp sets from the current mini catalogue, Love Defined. This is such a versatile set and I really love using it!

I've used Melon Mambo, Black and Pear Pizzazz for the colours. I was really happy with this card...I love the clear stamped image. I used the little heart punch out shape from the Owl Punch and stuck them in a few spots on the stems using Stampin Dimensionals which give them a 3D look. A very easy but effective card.

Just Add Ink 55

Sorry I've been missing in action the last week or so. I was flat out organising things for the Open House I had during the week to celebrate Sale-a-bration. Thanks to all the ladies who came along, I hope you enjoyed the night! Over the coming week I will have lots to show you so those that couldn't make it can still see some samples.

Anyway, onto the Just Add Ink 55 challenge. The challenge this week is Just Add Love in recognition of Valentines Day. Of course I couldn't go past one of my favourite Stamp Sets at the moment...Love Defined from the Mini Catalogue. I made this  card very simple as I figure I'll give it to my hubby and he's not really into all the frills etc!! I have used Smooch Spritz (Silver Foil) on this card. I'm still experimenting with using this, but I think it turned out ok...would love to know what you think.
