Adding a Comment

Just quickly stopping by as a few people have asked me how to post a comment. To do this you click on the comments section at the bottom of a post and type your comment in the box. Then you select your identity which for most of you will be either Name/URL or you can select Annoymous. It doesn't matter either way. Select that then follow the instructions and there you have it!

Hope you've all had a good day.

No Voice!

Well thanks to filming a wedding in the rain yesterday, today I have no voice! But its not all bad, means I can hide in my office and do some creating! I'm keen to get some Scrapbook Layouts done with Stampin Up Products. But thought I'd do a quick post and show you some more cards I have done over the last week.

I've been playing around with some colouring techniques.  This get well card is coloured using the Blender pens and the Stampin Pastels. I have to admit when I got the pastels as part of my starter kit, I really didn't think I'd use them. But now that I've given them a go, I really love how they come out!

This one also uses the Pastel technique (sorry its a wonky photo!). The blender pens are great for this as you can get shades of light and dark.

This card above is just coloured with the Stampin Write Markers. These are very versatile as they have a fat texta like end and then they have a thinner end that can be used for journalling. This card was based on a design I saw on a Stampin Up Website.

Well off to my scrapbook layouts now. I will post them in the next few days.

A Wet Weekend

Good morning! Thanks to all the rain all the kids sport is off this morning giving me sometime for a post and a couple of pictures of some cards I have created.

This is my Hello Birdie Card. Baja Breeze is one of my "Go To" colours, I love it and it looks so good with white and red. I am loving the Birdie Stamp from the Cheep Talk Stamp Set. The "Hello" stamp is from the new Clear Mount Tiny Tags Stamp Set which is found in the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. As you can see this stamp set works really well with the new Medium Jewellery Tag Punch which is also found in the Mini Catalogue.

Below is another card using the same concept as above. Once you have a good design, make a few cards that are similar.

Well thats it for now. Stay dry!

A Welcome Prize...

To welcome everyone to my blog I have a little prize offering! If you leave me a comment before next Friday 4th June, I will put you in the draw to receive a Stampin' Write Marker as well as a little suprise!

Welcome

Well welcome to my first Blog Post! Thanks for stopping by.  I am planning on regularly updating my blog with pictures of projects I create, Stampin' Up! info and random bits of info. I would love it if you left me a comment so I know you have stopped by.

So a little about me...I have been a Scrapbooker for around 4 years now and I love it! I love creating, I love telling the stories of life and I love paper! I was introduced to Stampin' Up! two years ago when I was invited to a workshop. From there, I had a workshop and then several of my friends had workshops. Everytime I went to one I was more and more impressed by the products. I couldn't resist any longer and signed up about 2 months ago as a Demonstrator. Now I am loving creating cards and other projects along with my scrapbooking with the Stampin' Up! Products.

I will leave you with a picture of a card I created last week. This card uses the Flower Fusion Felt flowers which are just gorgeous along with a Rhinestone brad which adds a bit of bling! I have also used the Scallop Edge Punch to add the "Grass". I couldn't live without this punch.
