A Gift

Hope everyone is well and surviving the winter cold and all the germs that seem to be floating around at the moment!

I thought I'd share some pictures with you today of a gift I made for a friend. It was so quick and easy and looked really effective.

The pot is from Ikea and it was really inexpensive (and can be used again). It is a terracotta type pot in a greyish colour. I basically wrapped the ribbon around it and attached the flowers. Then I stamped a patterned circle from a retired Stampin' Up! Set and then added the little brad to the middle of the flower.

For the card I used my Polka Dot embossing folder through the Big Shot machine, used some matching ribbon and stamped another few images and layered them up using a brad and Stampin' Dimensionals (which are great for the 3D look). On the inside of the card, I just added some white paper and stamped a matching image in the corner.

I then wrapped some Maltesers in cellophane added some matching ribbons and I was done. All up it took me maybe 20 minutes to complete and it was a very effective little gift. It is amazing what a few ribbons and stamps can do!

Thats it for today. Hope you have a great weekend. Don't forget to leave me a comment to let me know you stopped by!
