I'm on a roll again with my cards and have made a couple today. This one is for the Just Add Ink Challenge #68. If you haven't done so before, check out this great challenge site...not only for challenges but also for wonderful inspiration and ideas!
Anyway, this week at Just Add Ink it is a colour challenge...
I loved the look of these colours together when I saw it so couldn't resist playing along this week. Plus it uses two of my all time favourite colours...Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze!
So here is what I came up with...
This photo is a little dark! I was really happy with how this card turned out...simple, but effective. You probably can't see, but on the little flowers on the butterfly wings, I have stuck the tiny pearls in the middle of each and it gives the card a bit more interest and dimension!
Card Recipe (all Products Stampin' Up! unless specified):
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze
Accesssories: 1/4" White Grosgrain Ribbon, Curly Label Punch, Butterfly Punch, Designer Buttons, Pearls
I know I promised more on convention...stop back tomorrow and I will share some more convention photos!
Thanks for stopping by,
Hi Emma, I am glad you explained in your post that you had put little pearls on the flowers on the butterfly wings because I was trying to work out what you had done there, great idea. Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink this week.
